i would agree with someone above and say that they are both good, but both different. need for speed has turned away from supecars and toward tuners and a few domestics and focused on full customization and less on driving. it's a good series, but sice dub edition, i would say that the midnight club series has taken the top spot in that particular category. gran turismo lets you drive a whole slough of cars (though not as many as previously available) and pretty much fine tune your cars performance for each particular race. and does so while paying attention to detail and using real life courses. so it depends on what you're looking for.

Gran Turismo has always been and will always be better than NFS. It's the real driving sim.

GT of course because it`s a simulator and nfs is only an arcade racing game.

Of course Gran Turismo.

That's like comparing the Lakers and Clippers. No contest.

It depends. If you like simulators, then Gran Turismo. If you like arcade (or the fun version) then Need for Speed. I hate simulators; to me, they aren't nearly as much fun as banking a turn at a buck twenty and hitting some spray to straighten the fishtail. I just started Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, and it's got serious potential. NFS: Most Wanted was a hell of a good time, though. The arcade racers also allow you to do a whole lot more with the designs of the cars as well, from body kits to paint jobs to vinyl patterns.

The ones like Burnout for me. I'm gonna guess their closer the NFS. The hardcore simulations aren't fun to me. Never been a gearhead.

Gran Turismo

I prefer driving games that take a more realistic approach. I find them more challenging and rewarding than games like NFS where you're able to powerslide around a hairpin at 100mph. Not that I don't like NFS, but Gran Turismo is better.

I would have to say Gran Turismo. I have put numerous hours into every installment of the series.
