Games ive greatly enjoyed are.. Mount and Blade Warband, Terraria, Borderlands 2, Spec Ops The Line, State of Decay and Max Payne 3.

I know those dont seem much related but some qualities I enjoy in games are survival elements sandbox army building/ character building and customizing and a large variety of things to do. I also enjoy 3rd person shooter games with good story but I will play 1st person shooters. *****TLDR***** looking for a game with combat, large amounts of customization and a good story always helps.

@lovelysharts: Your username is fucking gold.

On topic, a good game I'd recommend is LISA: The Painful. The game has a ton of different party memebrs (I think around 35) and one of the most well written stories in games.

Its DLC The Joyful is also good, although ther arent't as many customization options

Brutal Legend is a heavy metal themed open world game with a great story. Gameplay is kind of a hybrid action/adventure/RTS.

Vanquish is my favorite third person shooter of all time.

Definitely. From a gameplay perspective, Fallout 4 is incredible. Amazing combat. Amazing character customization in terms of talent choices and weapon choices. Insanely good world building and level design. The most immersive and engrossing single player experience I've had in gaming and I've been gaming since the Commodore 64 days.

@LuminousAether: Hi guys.

C64, you're showing your age if you know what this is!!! Must be similar to me....

I've experience C64, SNES, then skipped everything inbetween until PS4 (does Android playstore count?).

My point is that my first game on the PS4 was FALLOUT4, and boy was I impressed and addicted. Now that I've completed it on V easy, then Normal.... I feel a void in my life. I traded it for Assassin's creed 4 (Black Flag) and it seems it has the makings of a good game, but pales in comparison to FO4..... the graphics, quality of physics and interactions.... it is nice for some faster paced action, but sailing around these oceans??!!! WTF? [I know you can fast travel akin to FO4]....

My question: (I don't want to hijack this thread)

what to get now please???? I rented The Last of Us - could be a contender for FO5 substitute...
