Hello,

Maybe a silly question, but how do you do it?

I'm a member of GameSpot since before 1998 and i am following tons of games, mostly older games which i dont want to delete because im afraid i might lose some new information on the title or might forget the title altogether.

Is there a way to save and track games other than stacks? I find it tedious, mostly because i find the response of the site is slow.

Oh and what i would really like is a [Recommend] section, much like in iTunes, where Gamespot gives you some advice on what games you might like, based on your saved preferences. I'm often scouring the internet for new games, but i have a hard time looking for the genry i prefer, for example Baldur's Gate.

@harlequin01: Stacks are how the GameSpot designers contrived user game collections. You can also follow games, and you should be able to receive notifications about them if you have that option turned on in your profile settings.

Game curating is a great idea, but we do not have that currently beyond the reviews that staff posts and user reviews with their approval/disapproval system.

Gamespot needs helping tracking and managing games.

The stack system sucks and it broke the game collection that I used to keep track of under the old gamespot design. I tried to fix the stacks for my game collection, but it was a nightmare and most games that didn't convert to the stacks correctly took a very long time for gamespot to correct. By that point in time, I stopped trying to use the shitty stacks and gave up on it.

Don't feel bad if the current system design they have sucks and you can't figure it out. It's not worth it.

If you haven't tried Pillars of Eternity - look into that game. Awesome game.

Also, Divinity: Original Sin is a really good game

@neatfeatguy: I use vgcollect.com to track my collection. If I had an iPhone or iPad i'd probably buy an app called Delicious Library 3, only heard good things about it, but its only on iOS, not OSX. ;\

Stopped updating my game collection here, since the new system is uber slow to use.

@harlequin01: While I would like to affirm that there is an easy way, I am not aware of it. Apparently, users are required to go to a specific game page such as a review and click on the follow button. This is not something that I am happy about, but I hope that answers your question.

Thanks. I'll look into the site.
