Need help installing old PC game

I installed Carnivores 2 for my old PC(Windows 2000) Everything worked fine in the menu. But when I tried loading the map and playing the game the loading bar always got to the end then a window pops up and says "Heap allocation error" and I'm still on the map selection screen.

Can any of you guys tell me what's wrong?

Oh well you put the disk into your pc and install content on disk it will pop up on your computer screen.
