Need help quick

My rockband guitar wont work for GH 2, how do I fix it.

Also I am using the newest rockband guitar with the orange on it.

rock band 2 wasn't out when guitar hero 2 was made, so guitar hero 2 isn't programmed to use a rock band 2 controller ur going to hav to use a gh 2 controller
