I've already asked in the PC board and got no responses.
I've recently started to go throught the original Half-life (in Steam). The problem is most of the console commands do not work. I've been to the Steam forums as well and still cant get this to work.
I can load maps and restart, but every time I try give ammo_xxxx nothing happens. Also I did remember to change it to sv_cheats 1.
