I got 70 dollars in my Steam Wallet. I don't know what to buy. My first instinct was to Pre-Order Watch_Dogs. Then I put some thought into it and decided that the new Wolfenstien would fit my taste better (Plus Doom beta). But then I thought on how many older games that I don't have in my library I can buy (Like X-com, the star wars games, Mafia 2, Arma,DayZ, etc)

So I am at a crossroads. Please leave suggestion of what I should and what games I should buy because I have no idea personally.

When it comes to what games I like, I enjoy it generally everything with the exception of racing games and sports games (Nothing against them, I just have no interest for the real life counterparts and so I have no interest in the games)

Thank You.

I'd say go with Watch Dogs , there's minimal chance that you're gonna regret it , it's open world so u can have much more gameplay time with it , it has a new concept and i believe the execution of it will be great ...

At the moment I'd suggest you consider one or more of X-com, Dayz, Skyrim, Witcher 1 & 2, Far Cry 3 + Blood dragon rather than a pre-order you cant use now..

The thinking behind this is that they're tried & tested & well worth the money (Yes Dayz is in development - but there's enough content & game to warrant the purchase) Pre-orders are a bit of a gamble, hype can often be misleading & personally I'd suggest to wait for a number of reviews rather than gambling buying a pre-order - Yes Early Access is a form of pre-order, yet I recommend Dayz as an exception based on I've played the mod & SA extensively (plus its one of Steams biggest sellers)

Other steam games to consider

Running with Rifles

Mass Effect series

World in Conflict

Borderlands

Fallout 3 / Vegas

You could get Watch Dogs(It's one of the few games i pre-ordered). You could also get a load of games for that money on Steam

@mjorh: @geniobastardo: @The_Last_Ride: @FragSponge:

Thank you all for your suggestions. I have decided that I'll get a lot more value from buying older games.

Games I bought :

Arma X= its cheap

S.T.A.L.K.E.R shadows of Chernobyl= always wanted to get it

Day Z = also wanted to own it

Two world complete edition = it was a dollar

poker night at the inventory= cause of characters.

And that's the story of how I burned through 70 dollars on steam ;)
