There's so many of them, I grow bleary eyed just thinking about it. Which is your favourite? Mine has to be finishing Chip and Dale 2 at one go one sunny afternoon. Sigh.

I think one of my favorite memories would be when I first got Super Mario Bros. 3. I just remember how excited I was about everything new in that game. I played it all day with my dad when I first got it.

so.... many.... memories of.... awesome games....

omg, playing smb3 the day it came out, tearing up ninja gaiden 2 time and time again, spending hours playing FF1 and grinding levels and gold at the beginning to get my party pumped at the elf town, playing the original batman at my friends house all night, playing revenge of the joker over and over and marveling that the nes could put those graphics out. Dragon Warrior 3 all day and night.... just too much awesomeness for 1 post.

Several NES games were my favorites. The Legend of Zelda was looking so cool because I watched TV commerial. I played it and liked it. Few NES games were too hard to beat as I played computer games like Jumpman, and Jumpman Jr. I used NES Advantage on them. I loved it.

I remember being about 12 and being at Hills (now closed), and having birthday money. I KNEW I wanted Top Gun, and I KNEW I liked Top Gun, but I picked up Friday the 13th. Some pretty cool guy in his 20s was like "Hey man, that game is awful, you probably won't like it". Well, I ended up not listening, and boy did it sure suck. I almost never played it, and never did get Top Gun until a few years ago. No clue why, but that memory has always been with me.

Waking up my dad to come see the ending of Megaman 2 (I was 13 and we had been working on the game for over a month). Also seeing my dad's reaction when I beat Zelda 2 in just over a week, when it took him almost a year, lol.

Having to hold the Zapper right against the tv screen to shoot things in Duck Hunt and wandering Hyrule with no idea where the heck I was supposed to go in Zelda 1. Those were the days.

Also, in Top Gun, I remember shooting down every single plane that crossed my path. Nothing was safe from me.

Jen_of_Turks

Hahahaha! I remember doing that too!

I remember the first time I saw Super Mario at a friend's place. I came back home and couldn't think of anything else except "I HAVE TO GET THAT FOR MYSELF". Got gifted a NES that year too. :D

Anyone here play Karnov? :P

I think I had more games on that system than I had on any other system I have ever owned. Favorite was Blaster Master. Remember that one?

I never owned a NES till this year. So many of my NES memories come from way back when i used to go to the baby sitters place. Beating kirbys dreamland or beating contra for the first time are just some of my great memories.
