Never been into Final Fantasy world

and want to get there . Just donnu which game to get that would provide so much fun and tells the whole story , old or new one game or more. just wanna start .. any ideas?

ff10 is a good place to start

if you find yourself completely in love and engaged into that, and you really like that style of game

then you might wanna consider getting 7 or 8 off ebay

I think you should get 9 it's pretty fun and not one of the obssesed over games and felt quite different from the other Final Fantasy's (though not in a bad way)

If you need good graphics and voice actiong then you should get 10 though I think it's definetly one of the weaker final fantasys.

I suggest Final Fantasy 9 - Has been my favourite out of the lot.

Final Fantasy 10 is second fav.

Even though FFX isn't one of my favorite Final Fantasies, it is highly recommended that you start here for many reasons.

First of all, it's cheap to find and you can virtually find it anywhere. Secondly, it's easy to play and will give you a general idea what FF is about. You can also find FFXII at any store for cheap too, but I think beginners might be overwhelmed with FFXII since it's so different. And the reason why I can't recommend FFVII, VIII, or IX is because they are tough to find and expensive.

I also recommend the FF games on the GBA, FFIV, V, and VI, in case you're curious to play clas-sic Final Fantasy. But I think every Final Fantasy fan should play FFVI...it's kind of like a prerequisite because FFVI really shows why the series became so great.

FFVII just pushed it mainstream, but every FF player knows that FFVI is the one that really started it all.

ive beat all of them, my fav was 7, 9 was good, 10 was about the same fun as 9 in my opinion, 8 wasnt that great but still fun,

the thing about 9 & 10-

9-is a little bit more like a hero's story and the story is great although its very different from the other games, your person has a monkeys tail, you fight a large variety of battles for different reasons, pick up allies on the road, and the game will keep you intrested the whole way through

10- better graphics and cut scenes, the game has a sequal where you play as the main charecters "lover" per say and you look for the origional main charecter, he had a **** up life where he has to save the world from a great monster that attacks without warning in which he knows a little more than he wishes too. :P

8- Gunblades, a rival in which you hate, your basicly from a big collage that you leave with some friends, join a big army? i guess, and going after this witch i guess, not the greatest game in my opinion, hardly remember it, not to many epic parts.

7!!!!- this game was epic, nearly everyone liked it and there are several games based on it, although it is very old you absolutely have to beat it to consider yourself someone who really enjoys final fantasy games. your a first class soldier, your old fighting buddy finds out his mom is this monster that goes around destraying worlds and thinks up this plan to take over the world, your on his tail everywhere, the game is favorited by people of all ages including people who make games that arent even rpg's, like shooters, the owner of lionhead studios rememebers this game as one of the best of all time because it gives you the feeling of "love" haha, anyway you gotta get this game

I've tried to start playing FF but unfortunately I picked up FF Xll and just hated it . Now after what I've seen of all the effect Final Fantasy had on many people I found myself obliged to get a game and play. Seems like I'm buying FF X .
