New Game case=Scent in a can

I think everyone loves the smell of factory fresh game disks and the way the instruction manuals feel. Every time I get a new game I rip off the thin clear plastic wrapping, open up the case and take a big whif of the inside of the case, and rub the side of the disk that won't scratch, and flip it over and reflect lights from around the room off of it. Then I remove the instruction manual and feel the paper, because in the next few days it's... just paper.

I lol'd reading this, but I admit I do this as well.

It's odd how different the manuals can smell. I remember my manual (Brand new) of MGS2 on the Ps2 wreaked of Cigarettes, but my manual (also new) for Fable 2 smelled like incense. I also like the smell of brand new hardware (PC parts, new controllers, etc.) :P

Be careful my friends it can get out of hand. I started sniffing new games but before I knew it I couldn't get enough and ended up on around 10 games a day not even good games any old rubbish just to get a hit. Then I got my ps3 and the smell in that beast was a new high. Now I in rehab trying to get over this demon I know one day I will be clean but the new game smell will always be there tempting me in to its warm safe aroma. :)wigz411

I know exactly what you mean man.

But yeah I do that too, open the case, take a deep smell, rub the top of the disc and spin it around, open the manual, smell it, and then read through it.
