new road rash game

about 6 months ago i heard a rumor that a new version of the classic motorcycle / battle game, "Road rash" was in the works that game with next gen graphics would be a blast ,but sadly i haven't heard anything else on the subject , anyone else hear anything ?

You can probably throw Road Rash in the 'classic games never to get a sequal, sadly' section. Along with, 'Punch-out', 'Shenmue' and some of my personal favorite, yet very obscure games'.

Sure EA has ALL the ability to make a really cool Road Rash game, but will they? Probably not. It'd just be Burnout on motorcycles...

Oh yeah that game rocked I still play it from time to time on my Genesis ( the PC version was a disgrace)
I would love to see a new one even for the PS2. New graphics and free roam would rock.

This old news is probably what contributed to the rumor but I see no new updates.

Sports games help EA ring up $784 million; publisher delays Army of Two, Crysis, reveals next-gen Black, movie-based Simpsons, Road Rash, Wii Sims, new Lord of the Rings, new SimCity, Sims 3.

Road Rash 3, Streets of Rage 2, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Vectorman 2.

That's all I ever needed for my Sega Genesis.

i always want them to make a new gen road rash on the ps3.

i always love the style gameplay of it.... mainly race and while at it kick, punch or whip your oponents with chain.

btw how to keep track of threads and the one you participate in? this forum seems not user friendly...
