New Star Wars shooter in the works

Days ago, I entered LucasArts' jobs page and saw several first person shooter career opportunities. One of them clearly said "Level designer - first person shooter (Star Wars game)".

It's not clear if it is going to be a Jedi Knight, Republic Commando, Battlefront or something new, but a new Star Wars shooter is on early stages of development. My finger are crossed for Star Wars Battlefront 3!

I didn't really care for republic commando. Page Commando's or Katarn Commando's for the win! I'm getting sick of the prequel stuff too. Maybe have it set during the thrawn campaign or something.

I would love a new Jedi Knight game. With modern physics and how RPG elements are worked into games these days I think it could be incredible.

I hope to God it's Republic Commando.

Id like to see a modern day one myself..Tired of the old republic stuff..Not sure why the company is dissing the old school movies..Every one seams to like old republic..

My faith in the Star Wars franchise is all but gone these days. As much as I want a new Jedi Knight and Republic Commando... I wouldn't think they could be nearly as good as their predecessors, nor could I find them as interesting because I've grown extremely tired of the SW IP (thanks Plinkett). It is probably going to be a new Battlefront-esque game I bet.foxhound_fox

Oh please let it be Republic Commando 2. That game seriously needs a sequel.

I would rather see a sequel to tie fighter than a republic commando 2. Honestly, the prequels have been done to death. What they really need is a Dark Forces 5 Jedi Knights 4 Jedi Outcast 3 Jedi Academy 2 Legacy. In other words DF5JK4JO3JA2L. Looks lke a european semi truck registration number.
