Hello, I am new here, I thought I would share my ideas for a new Superman game which game developers should put in the game. Here it is: Introduction: For many years, I have played a lots of Superman games. Some are decent, but most failed to meet fans' high expectations, the reason for the failures is due to game developers stripping Superman of his super-powers, limiting it too much, or having a health meter for Superman, which doesn't work for this character. So, to help game developers, I made a list of ideas to create a great Superman game that meet fans' high expectations. (Without taking away or limiting Superman's powers) Game Features Super Powers Flight Invulnerability Super-strength Super-breathe Strength up to Hurricane like winds (Press button multi times to increase the strength of the breathe) Freezing Super-speed When used, everything will become very slow, except Superman and other playable characters. Sensory powers X-ray vision Heat vision Telescopic vision Super-hearing (Can be used as a radar/mini map) Some of those powers could be exchanged in the pause menu such as super breath and freezing. At the beginning of the game your superpowers, as well as combat moves, should be limited to the basics. They can be updated/developed by earning hero points from main and side missions. (Hero points can be used as money to buy updates and combat moves, Spider-Man 2 style) Free-roaming (Should use Spider-man 2 as a temple) Huge areas to explore/protect Metropolis (Main area) Smallville (Can be a training area) Outer space. (Can visit areas such as Brainic's spaceship and the moon) Fortress of Solitude (Can be use to store awards, unlockibles, get game information, challenging trainings, etc) Apokolips as a secret planet, unlocked only after defeating Darkseid and obtaining a boom tube (Only access to this planet) Interactive Talk with people Carry objects, vehicles, and people Can freeze lakes, rivers, and sections of the ocean (Can be used to put out fires) 100% destructible (Such as being thrown through a building) Should have real-time day to night cycle NPCs Non Playable characters with their own roles in the game Martha and Jonathan Kent (Give you game advices and tips) Perry White (Asks you to find newspaper icons for him) Lois Lane (Tells you about dangers in the city then later, be playable as Superwoman) Jimmy Olson (Tells you clues where to find hidden objects such as newspaper icons) Lane Lang (Same to Jimmy Olson and give game advices) Maggie Sawyer and Inspector Henderson (Tell you about crimes happening around the city) Professor Emil Hamilton (Asks you to capture escaped creatures and bring them back to the S.T.A.R.S labs The Flash (Challenges you for a race in any area of your choice) (Minigame) Lex Luthor (Challenge you to defeat him in his battle suit or his Hi-tech robots powered with Kryptonite) (Minigame) Meters for the game Trust meter Judges Superman and other superheroes' performance and actions Successes in missions will make people love your superhero. Failures or too much destructive will make people fear or not trust your superhero. Missions such as doing repairs and side missions will greatly increase the meter Health Meter Only affected when exposed to Kryptonite or magic. Will gradually increase when not exposed to Kryptonite or magic Be able to switch secret identities anytime, especially inside the Daily Planet Superman to Clark Kent Supergirl to Linda Lang Supergirl 2 to Linda Danvers Superboy to Conner Kent Superboy 2 to young Clark Kent (Pre-Crisis) Superwoman to Lois Lane Superwoman 2 to Kristin Wells Steel to John Henry Irons Steel 2 to Natasha Irons Lots of main and historic comic book stories. Main missions (Should be random and over time so not to be repetitive) Crime Fighter Stop robberies Stop petty crimes Take out riots Free hostages Take normal and super-criminals to police. Re-capture escaped criminals. Be able to melt weapons/bullets by targeting criminals Rescues Save someone from falling to death (Including Lois, until she becomes Superwoman.) Prevent ships from sinking Prevent airplanes or helicopters from crashing Stop runaway cars or trains before getting in harm's way Save citizens from burning buildings or falling objects Save someone from drowning Prevent meteorites from striking Metropolis. Prevent alien invasions Helping hand Put out fires Repairs Ships Buildings Airplanes/helicopters Finding lost objects Pets, (can be stuck in trees or lost in parks, etc.) Child's balloons or toys Take a broken automobile to a repairs shop Take an injured person to a clinic. Side missions: mini games and challenges Finding hidden objects/icons spread around four areas mentioned above. Collecting newspaper icons for the Daily Planet Doing a number of mentioned missions above, under a cretin period of time. Super-villain battles (Should be done randomly and over time, to avoid being repetitive.) Lex Luthor in battle suit Brainaic Darkseid Bizzaro Livewire Parasite Doomsday Metallo Mxyzptlk Female Furies High-tech robots from Lex Luthor's LexCorps Escaped creatures from S.T.A.R.S Lab Various of super minions Unlockibles Doing a certain number of missions, side missions, challenges, or beating a certain storyline under a certain period of time can unlock the following superheroes: Superheroes Supergirl Kara Zor-El Linda Danvers Superboy Silver age version (Superman when he was a boy) Kon-El (Current version) Steel John Henry Irons Natasha Irons Superwoman Kristin Wells (Jimmy Olson's descendant) Lois Lane Costumes Classic comic book costumes Golden age costume Sliver age costume (Superman/Supergirl) Superman Blue Superman Red Kingdom Come The Red Son Matrix Supergirl version (Blue top and red skirt) Linda Danvers version (White top and dark blue skirt) Black/Silver costume (From Reign of The Supermen" comic storyline) Eradicator suit (From "Reign of The Supermen" comic book) Kon-El version (Jeans and black shirt with a Superlogo on it) Movie/TV costumes Chris Reeve Helen Staler Brandon Routh George Reeves Dean Cain Tom Welling (Jeans and red shirt/jacket) Laura Vandervoort (Shorts and Tank top with red jacket) The Animated Series version (Superman and Supergirl) Unlockible costumes can be used for all character. Can mix and match with various characters. Example: Supergirl wearing Superman's costume but male characters won't wear female costumes though Mini games: Be able to play as villains and cause chaos under a cretin period of time. Protect your secret identities without being detected. (For example, you are Clark Kent and you see danger nearly, you need to find a quiet place to switch- FAST without people noticing you. There should be several results for either being caught in the act or not) Collect a line of Superman icons within a certain period of time. (Flight) Shooting galley (Heat vision) Races with The Flash. (Super speed) Save a superhero who is kidnapped by a super-villain such as Darkisd. (This mini game could unlock a playable superhero) Game Mechanics Instead of boundaries, there should be warp ports around Metropolis, Smallville, Fortress of Solitude, and outer space. Fly upward, above clouds, will lead to outer space (This area should have a boundary around Earth, the moon, Sun and nearly planets and spaceships through) Fly northward will lead to the Fortress of Solitude Fly to the West, East, or South edges will lead to either Metropolis or Smallville. When returning to Earth, a message should show up asking gamers where they want to go. Should display a compass on the screen Should have targeting system similar to Spider-Man 2 or Spider-Man: Web of Shadows For game tutorial, gamers should be allowed to skip it altogether. Must have an option to turn on/off subtitles, for deaf gamers, from the pause menu. (This feature is what many games, such as Spider-Man 2, lack) Should have a list of missions to activate from the pause menu if gamers want to repeat them. Display a map for each area to find missions, side missions, etc Game controls Should be similar to Superman: Shadow of Apokolips, (with some improvements) Spider-man 2 and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. "A" button should be action button, functions as followings. Talk with people Grab in mid-flight (Hold down button when flying toward someone/something.) Pick up someone/something Put down someone/something Throw (press twice) Punching and other combos. Switching identities, only if you see a "Switch" icon in areas such as allies or in phone booths. (Similar to Spiderman 2) "B" button should be for super-speed when running on ground. (Press down and hold to run) "Z" button should be used for targeting system. (Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of time.) Shoulder buttons should be for flying. (The more times you press, the faster you fly) "Y" and "X" buttons should be used for sensory super powers selected from the pause menu. (Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of time.) The left analog stick controls horizontally and the right analog controls up and down. (Take-off for flying) Camera should always remain behind Superman and other playable characters. (Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of time) Miscellaneous Should be for EVERY current-generation console, including PC and Mac. For Wii owners, gamers should have the option to use GameCube or Classic controllers for this game. Please let me know what you think thanks. :)

EA would just ignore your email, it may have a lot of good idea's but random people emailing them idea's get ignored mostly because EA likely doesn't want to get sued. Another thing, does EA even have the license to Superman? What you should do is start creating mods for games, get into the game business. If you really want to see a Superman game done right, you have to show the people who have the license to make a Superman game. That doing it your way is the best way way to go about it. Like I said get into the game business, and show the people that you know what your doing, and that they can trust you with the game.

That's a bummer, cuz EA is the only company who can make Superman games. I'm no programmer and I am not good at it.
