I've just seen Nausicaa for the first time a cople of weeks ago and I see what people mean when saying WKS' art is very inspired by the Studio Gibhli film. Those giants and the small airships zooming around are almost ripped right from the movie :D
About the trailer, omg the in-game characters look like the FMV sequences from Path of Radience:P amzanig!!1 very epic and nice, I can just tell I'll never finish this game XD (27 hours into FFXII atm - and the last month or so, probably 45+ into DQVIII :X)
The song used in the trailer was pretty cool too, normally I shiver whenever I hear Japanese vocals, but this was quite nice. Hope the games' soundtrack sounds like this and not just the generic sweeping orchestral 'we're just phoning it in'-type of sound most JRPGs (correction, most video games) employ these days.
White Knight Story is looking very good. It's on my 'to get list' right below MGS4.

White Knight looks very nice, it was all cutscene stuff but we see some locations you will be visiting, looks epic.dvader654
Very true, I hope the game still plays as dynamic as that first trailer we saw, if its anything like that, i might have to give this a try.

Seing this trailer now, almost a year since the last one, I'm thinking the first one was CG and Level 5 pulled a Killzone on us.The characters almost looked better a year ago and that was suposedly in-game. Why would they make the characters look not as good in cutscenes as in normal gameplay? Downgrade?
Still looks ****ing awesome!
You know, i just watched the TGS trailer again here at gamespot. The video was all kinds of horrible but I dont think the graphics took a hit tbh. They are a little worse than I remember them being, but the graphics are hardly the reason I was stunned back then. Its the fluidity of the gameplay, its unreal. The way you can corner an enemy and have team attacks, its awsome. Not to mention the entire thing was gameplay, and was actually being played with the menus and what not. So i dont think they pulled a killzoneF1LengendIt definetively has the most interesting battlesystem in JRPGs I've seen in a long time. But you have to remember they could easily have made the trailer in cg with hud and menu-inputs - we'll find out at this year's TGS for sure. *hopefully*
