I'm sure it'll use a Wiimote of some kind. Will probably be on the graphical level of PS3 and 360. Don't know if it would have Gamecube bc though. Not sure about internal storage. SSDs are too expensive, and they seem to be against hard drives. So maybe we'll see 4gb of flash memory like the 360 arcade. Not sure why the VC would be better on the new system. All those games are old and the games on those old systems could run just fine on the current Wii. Those are the only things I feel safe in thinking might be in the new one. But they are supposed to wow us somehow, so who knows, maybe they'll throw a few surprises like fingerprint or retina recognition and incorporate it into gameplay somehow.
um graphics can only go so far and i think ps3 pushed them
so ps3 /360 level graphics would do fine on the wii 2 w/e
nintendo already confirmed going hd so thats a clue towards what they will offer
but i doubt 4 x the ps3 leve , no ones gonna even do that
2x maybe as it has always been for gens since nes
look
weve seen from nintendo -
nes-8 bit
snes 16 bit
n64 -this is the only time a console went 4x power-64 bit
gc 128 bit era though it wasnt 128 bit processer it had better visual level then ps2 which was a 128 bit console
wii 128 bit in line with xbox gc
ps3 and 360 are not going by bits so i wouldnt know but id say its 2x the power of the wii
you have to remember sony already lost bycharging 500 for its console this gen so i doubt we will see somthing lik that again not for a while,
prices will be 299 -399.99 nintendo will possibly be a wierd number such as 249,99 -289.99
i think nintendo is commited to making a cheap console for peple to get into the generation and take advantage early on like they did with the nintendo wii
wii was arisk nintendo was willing to take , and it paid off , wheter or not sales are now slowing , it still paid its time for nintendo they did somthing they aint done since snes-thats sell over 70 million units and become leader they practically already finished the job , this gen aint done yet, but i think after the commotion settles for move and kenict wii well re-take the lead in sales figures ,
due to price drops etc we all know nintend o , they will get desperate and just like what happened to gc when it droped to 99 it will happen to thewii
-gc sales skyrocketed enough to get it close to xbox
so ya with that said , nintendo has got goals and they will follow them
they aint like microsoft and sony , who well you know i dont want to go into detail this is not system wars
but their next console will be hd bluray definatelly willbe on boardf because dvd is dying ,
bluray movies are now at their sweet spots-20 bucks -24 for disney
so with all that said i expect good nintendo console next gen ,
i dont know what sony or ms are going to do , but my hunch is this they will release their new console but it wont be much more powerful then 360 or ps3 theyll only probably put more features and such
i think 1.5 x the power ,
and bluray for all
bc as well
especally on nintendos console ,
since it probably will be improved motion tech with standard control an option ! much like move and kenict that way , this time it probably wont be dogged !
its time for people to understand where nintendo stands, they wait until the right time , to release things, thats why they are still here
they dont push and shove, they are the only company that is still around hat was back in the8 0s
in fact their history as a whole goes back 100 yrs and i dont think they will throw those 100 plus years down the toilet
You can never truly predict what Nintendo will do next with their systems, but there are some patterns that they've started following since the DS and Wii. What we can expect most is that the new system won't have cutting edge capabilites. As the current console and handheld generation have shown, raw power alone is not a kingmaker in the industry. Also, going for lesser tech allows them to sell the system at a cheaper pricer while still making a profit.
Something else I doubt we'll see a massive leap from the Wii is the online infrastructure. Nintendo still largely views online as incidental, and while I think that certain improvements can be expected (i.e. a centralized account that will do away with friend codes and help connect individual games to the system itself), I doubt we'll see an XboxLive-like experience with it.
