I've been playing Red Dead Redemption a lot recently, and have just finished it for the fourth time. I wasn't very satisfied with the ending of Redemption, but it fits. I also think that the next Red Dead game should continue Jack Marston's story, but maybe a slight change in Jack's appearence ;) just a bit more like John :P.
I think the next Red Dead game should be called:
"Red Dead Retribution"
(look up the definition of retribution if you don't know it, because it relates to the plot of the single player, which I will write about after this)

Single Player First Mission

The game starts off as Jack waking up in the Marston Ranch in Beecher's Hope, a few months after Redemption. He picks up his hat, originally his fathers, and looks at it for a while. The game shows a flashback to Jack's early life as a child. You control him and the objective is to walk to John, and when you do a cutscene triggers of John telling Jack that no matter what happens, he will always love him. These flashbacks continue throughout the whole game at certain points. The flashback is then interrupted by a loud bang and the game returns to present time, and Jack hears voices outside.
You now control Jack and look out the front window. There is dozens of law enforcement waiting outside for you. The game then flashes back again to when John tells you to run with Abigail (don't worry, the flashbacks don't occur this often throughout the game). You must ride with Abigail on the horse and eventually you will hear distant gunshots and Abigail will tell you to go back. The flashback ends and you control Jack in present time again. The objective is to sneak out the back door, but when you get there you hear more voices through the doorway so you must find another way out.
Now you must go in to the attic. In here you find a Cattlemen Revolver and you are directed to smash the attic window and jump out. Once you jump out you must stay on the roof and keep killing wave after wave of law enforcement. At this point you have unlimited Dead-Eye and it is very easy and is basically a Dead-Eye tutorial, which is more advanced in Retribution.
At some point a cutscene triggers where someone shouts out 'You'll have the same fate as your dimwitted father!' Jack aims a shot at him but misses and all the soldiers begin shooting again, but you have no ammo. The game directs you to call your horse and another cutscene triggers of Jack jumping off the roof and landing on the horse's back.
The objective now is to escape from the law enforcement chasing you. Eventually a cutscene occurs when you are halfway to Blackwater where one of them gets next to you and aims a shot at you and you are then put into a quicktime event in which Jack grabs the revolver and shoots the man. The chase begins again and you now have to shoot the law enforcement chasing you or they will kill you.
When you reach Blackwater a cutscene occurs in which your horse is shot and you fall off and are badly injured. You have to walk towards an alleyway before the law enforcement find you and when you get there you fall over and go unconscious and the mission ends.

Single Player Plot

After the first mission you wake up in a bed in someones house (haven't thought of that yet) and they tell you they found you unconscious and thought you were dead. They also said they had just phoned a doctor to come see you, who happens to be Harold McDougall from Redemption.
Throughout the whole game you meet characters from Redemption such as Bonnie, Reyes, Marshall Leigh Johnson and more. The storyline is about Jack Marston seeking revenge on the law enforcement for attacking him for no particular reason. You must form an alliance to take out the Captain of law enforcement (haven't thought of a name yet), who hates Jack, claiming that John had murdered his wife and seeks revenge.
Wanted posters are put around the whole of America and Mexico, but no citizens report you to the police unless you commit a crime, because of Jack's profound fame, inherited from John.

Cooperative Campaign

Red Dead Retribution features a full length four player co-op campaign consisting of over 30 missions. In the Co-Op Campaign you play as either John, Dutch, Bill or Javier and it is set in the days of when they were all a gang. The campaign consists of the gang breaking the law, with missions such as robbing banks, going on rampages, taking out hostile gangs etc.
I haven't really though much about this yet, but I personally think its a great idea.

Multiplayer

Retribution is similar to Redemption's multiplayer, but with more game modes like Bank Robbery, Law VS Outlaws, etc. and more things to do in Free Roam. I haven't thought about this much either but I think the two game modes I mentioned above ^ were good ideas and I think putting more things to do in Free Roam would be a good idea too.

I made this all sound like it was a real game coming out, so it sounded more believeable and exciting. I hope you like the ideas and understand if you don't. I might send it to Rockstar if I get good feedback and will improve this post more so bookmark it if you're interested :)
Thanks for reading.
