Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Ninja Gaiden is not avaialble on PS2 and I was wondering if there are any similar games (to Ninja Gaiden) available for Playstation 2.
Thanks.

yes, you are correct. There are no Ninja Gaiden games for the ps2. Ninja Gaiden Black is definately a GREAT reason to own an xbox or xbox360. The closest thing to NG that you can get for Ps2 would probably be a Tenchu game. I havent played any of them, but if you can find one for a good price, its worth trying.
i've played DMC4 and its not really anything like NG or NGII.
Seconding Bujingai: The Forsaken City. I paid $40 for it when it was released and did not feel ripped-off in the slightest. It's not god-tier like Ninja Gaiden Black, but it IS incredibly fast-paced, and combo-driven. You can literally combo through an entire stage if you're good enough, it even saves your combo counter when entering a new room. Boss fights were spectacular, as well.
Tip for maintaining your combo that the manual never tells you about: jump+glide+slash+glide+slash+glide+continue until you land and repeat. As long as your feet aren't touching the ground or you don't take a hit from enemies, your combo will not disappear. Wall-running doesn't count as "ground". Stylish poses, performed by holding Square at the end of combos, give you style points which gain you more EXP orbs at the end of stages.
I scond that. Its alot like Ninja Gaiden. Not quite as good, but hey.[QUOTE="raven_squad"][QUOTE="Gohansephiroth"]shinobiRookie395
Thanks. I'll check that out.
Any other comments about Technu?
Tenchu's really more of a stealth game, and IMO, not a very good one. I'm not a Metal Gear fan but I can say if you want a good PS2 stealth game get MGS3: Subsistence. The first Tenchu game on PS1 was decent, after that things went downhill. There are a lot of decent action games on the PS2. I've got Bujingai, Shinobi, Nightshade, DMC series, God of War, Chaos Legion, the Onimusha series, Shadow of Rome and Blood Will Tell.
I've also got Nanobreaker and Red Ninja, but I suggest staying far away from those.
Yeah, Nanobreaker was the first game where I literally snapped the disc in half. Chaos Legion and Blood Will Tell were both extremely fun, IMO. I would have recommended them but this guy's probably looking for more fast-paced stuff. But don't get me wrong... I loved them to death. Chaos Legion robbed me of over 80 hours and I don't want them back, ever. There are a lot of decent action games on the PS2.
