i browsed through the gs ces videos aand there were sony and microsoft but no nintendo. i then went to g4tvs live converage and they had sony...and microsoft...no nintendo.i was just wondering if they werent there at all or just no one was talking about them?

If memory serves me right (yeah right!) I do remember reading that Nintendo would not be attending. There was even some thread in SW about the small tables for 3rd party games at the event. In any case, Nintendo as a company was non-existant at that particular CES show.

wow i can understand the 3rd party thing but nintendo??the leading console seller not jumping on the chance to get more believers in the wiis capapbilities?that seems like a no brainer to me

In general Nintendo doesn't attend events like this. They don't even have a presence at the Tokyo Game Show, so them not participating in CES isn't a huge surprise.

Nintendo has their own trade show (Space World) so they usually decline to attend industry shows like CES and TGS. E3 is the one exception.

edit: nevermind, seems like SW is only held once every blue moon. Could've sworn it was held a lot more often but according to wikipedia the last one was in 2001. Well, point being, Nintendo typically doesn't attend big industry events.
