Just say what the first game you ever beat was, and what made it so awesome...

The original Suikoden was my first beaten game, I know it wasn't that long ago, but i'm only 16, so give me a break. I just remember loving the character collection system, the large scale battles, and the customizable castle...

What about you guys?

For me: The first game that I ever remember beating was Starfox 64. I am definitly going to find a copy of the game so I can play it again now that I have my N64 up and running again.

Final Fantasy 2 (SNES) / Final Fantasy 4, this wasn't the first game I had played, but it was the first one I remember finishing right to the end... and what an ending.

Even today, few games have had such a great ending. It felt like 10-15 minutes long, amazing and fun.

Most games I played as a kid didn't have endings. They just rolled over. But Pitfall 2 on the 2600 was up there though.

Crap, that's a hard one. It's either Super Mario All Stars, Sonic 3, Aladdin (Genesis), Super Mario 64, or Super Smash Bros.

I think...it may have been Crashbandicoot 2...unless I rented a game before that, but I think that was my first real playstation game.

I had played games, but I wasn't able to beat any before that, I was young.

Super Mario World. My mom said I couldn't get a new game until I beat it. I damn near woke up the entire house to prove to someone I beat it so I could get another game.

Wow....that's taking it way back. I guess the 1st game I ever beat was Contra for the NES. Actually my cousin and I beat it together (I hope that counts).

The Legend of Zelda!

I was very proud of my accomplishment, I think I was about 8 roughly. I only beat the first quest however, not the 2nd one.

the first game i definately remember beating was super mario 64, but i think i beat Super Mario World or yoshis islandbefore that (i was only 7 when i beat super mario 64 so if i beat a game before that, i wouldnt remember very well)

super mario world on the snes. It was also the first game I ever played.

I actually beat this game again about 2 months ago on the wii's virtual console. So many memories of Donut Land and the Vanilla Dome.

Double Dragon in the arcade. I had never seen a game ending before so I thought it was really cool that it had credits at the end -- just like a movie!!

Banjo Kazooie on the 64- with the help of my older sister. It was amazing, and every time I think about it I get all excited and start thinking of how I was when I was 6 :(.
