try getting another copy of Oblivion, then at least you could see if it's the game or your xbox..if you rent one and it works fine...return your copy of it when you bring back the game..:P
That's not a very helpful answer. :? Anyway, I'm confused. You say you have an XBox 360 Arcade? Those are without harddrives, right? What size is your memory card? I'm of the understanding that an Oblivion save file is at least a gig in size...thats because oblivion is the worse game ever made and should be put out of its missery.

First nice spelling(sarcasm), second Oblivion is one of the best games to come out this gen, and to the tc it is probably the disc, mine is so scratched that it wont read it anymore.
Install it to the hard drive, that may help.Black_Knight_00He has an arcade. He may not have a harddrive...

doesn't the game have to be able to load without freezing to be installed onto the harddrive, or can you install it as long as it is read by the system? I'm asking cuz I do not know...I have never tried loading a game onto my xbox..and since I got my PS3, the 360 has taken the backseat to my gaming

You can install the game as long as the disc is readable. The fact the game is freezing doesn't necessarily mean the disc is scratched. It happened to me before: I installed and it did the trick. Please Log In to post.
