oblivion guilds and side quests

If i dont join any guids or do alot of side quests in oblivion, will i be missing out on the story? or can i just play through with the main quests and be okay?

in all honestly, i liked the assassin's guild quests and storyline more than the main quest. some might disagree, but its something to consider.LoG-Sacrament

hell yeah I thought the guilds were the best thing about the game

as long as you don't research them beforehand

discovering them in the game is great!

thieves guild was my fav

but if you do want to go through the guild's i would suggest going through the bad karma ones (theives & brotherhood) first

the main story line sucks

just bs oblivion gates over n over.. not fun at all

all the side quests and guild quests are pretty fun actually..

how do i level up? does it do it automatically or do i have to do it manually... and where do i adjust the difficulty level at?passon13
