Alright, so I played Lost Odyssey and am just about to finish Last Remnant...just got shanked by the last boss and have to go grind until I can take him out, but anyway...I'm looking for a new game now. Preferably I would rather stay away from games like Infinite Undiscovery with its version of a combat system. I might go get Magna Carta II just because it looks a little more refined than the first. But yeah! Any suggestions? After a long time of looking around I'm going to go with Enchanted Arms and hope that by the time I'm done with it something else will pop up >.> But yeah, I just browsed all the role-playing games and was actually quite disappointed with the lack there of...at least for my desired genre. Which would be the little sub-genre of turn-based. Well even that isn't true...because Crono Trigger wasn't turn based but was awesome. I just want traditional kinds of rpgs...anyone have anything else?

How about Fallout 3. It's not turn based though.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope, not turn based but a good JRPG nonetheless. um...Eternal Sonata is really dank. besides that, not too much more on the 360. FFXIII comes out in March, that'll be good.

Eternal Sonata is a really good game with a nice battle system. It's short and pretty linear, but the gameplay is quite awesome. It's fairly cheap as well.

Alright, thank you kindly for responding. It still saddens me that the old jrpg style has kinda faded off...and Japan is being stingy about sending several games to America with that style >.> Makes me want to learn Japanese just to stick it to 'em. "Won't release it here!? FINE! I'll go and learn and entirely different language just to get it anyway!!!"

Have you played Blue Dragon? It was one of the best traditional JRPGs I have played in years. (At least on the 360)

This isn't a JRPG but you should try out Dragon Age or Mass Effect. The way it tells its story is similar to how a JRPG would. Imo, all Bio-Ware games tell stories in a similar way to JRPGs, but the combat system and settings are usually way different.

You might like going back to some xbox game and check out the KOTOR series too. Those are turned based and really good RPGs all around.
