I usually focus on one at a time unless im playing through story mode on one game and online on another...I prefer the single player aspect of games so I try ro enjoythe story.
Although I have been playing Dragon Age 2 and thats begining to be very repetitive and boring so its likely that Ill start another game to play also.
recently I've been making more of an effort to not buy games until I finish the game I am currently playing. This way I enjoy the games fully and don't waste money on games I may not play as well.
If I'm playing a game that's focused on, I'll do everything I can to finish it. Otherwise, I'll take a break and concentrate on something else until I decide to give that first game another shot again.
I have a really short attention span to most games so i play alot at the same time... But i also agree i try not to buy more games till i finished the ones i got, but that usally doesnt work
Normally i focus on one game, but if i get bored I'll play another. Also if i have a DS/PSP game, i play those before i go to sleep at night, and other games during the day.
One being a RPG and the other being a FPS/TPS. That way I can concentrate on the story line of the roleplaying game but if I get bored of the same scenery I can change it up and shoot some people for a couple of hours :D
i usually focus on one game at a time but will ocasionally play other smaller type games to break up the monotony. i have been playing guild wars since i picked it up but have played a little bulletstorm and super meat boy during it too.
when it come to the gaming I pretty much just stay with one game, otherwise I will lose the gaming feeling for the game, plus if it MP on the game as well I play that as well, If I have finish a game but I know I can still play MP on them I can switch from game to game, but SP, focus on one... atm, homefront ;)

I usually have a couple of games on the go, generally no more than three. They're usually different genres so I don't get overwhelmed or bored. If I'm particularly enamoured with a game I will focus on that and nothing else though. Depends on the game and my mood I guess.
When I was younger (and poorer) one game at a time was the way for me. Those days I was pretty careful about what games I bought. Now I like having 2 or 3 games at once. It allows me to take breaks but still play something. If I find one part of the game bad or hard I can just play another for a few hours. It probably means games can be more repetitive and I won't notice it like I did back in the 90s. Also good to have a single player and multiplayer game to keep me going.
Sometimes one, but other times, i like to have multiple genres going, like a racer, a shooter, and platformer/puzzler. Just to mix things up, or whatever I'm in the mood for. It's there.
Usually one console game and one handheld at a time. It mostly depends on what my wife is doing. If she's upstairs working on the computer or playing WoW, I'll be playing a console. If she's downstairs with me studying or watching TV, I'll play a game on the DS so it doesn't disturb her. I'm so considerate. :roll:
i think one game at a time is the best way to play any game and if you are not enjoying any game and get bored you should change your game instead of starting another at the same time
One single player story based game, one sports game and one frist person shooter for the online play. So I play about 3 games at a time but each for a different reasons.
I tend to play three to four games at once. Then it goes down to two games to one at time over a couple of weeks. I have LOTS of games to play so it's hard to make up my mind therefore I play some games to help me make up mind as to what I want to play and can focus on.

I enjoy being into multiple titles, though with multiple RPGs going at once it does take me a while to finish a game, especially since most of my RPGs are fairly non-linear.
I usually play two-four games at once, but if a game hooks me, I'll stick with that one and put the others on hold. Fallout New Vegas is doing that right now.
I have to focus on one at a time, otherwise I lose track of my place cuz I play a lot of RPG's. Though sometimes, after playing the same game all week, I like to switch to a different game for the sake of variety. PS: Yay, I'm the new guy!
If it's a highly anticipated title purchased day one, I'll devote all of my game time on it. If it's a game I purchased at bargain bin price, I tend to neglect those and I'll jump from one game to another.
1 game is about it for me....right now it's mortal kombat and I have LA Noire on pre order from amazon(hope its good) then it's on to alice maddness returns and i hear it releases with the 1st alice game which i've never played since i was never a pc gamer....but yea one game at a time it gives me a chance to really experience the game instead of thinking about another game i'm playing
Nah, I have never played games at once. I always focus on one game, whether it be for a couple minutes (because it sucks) or a year (because it's awesome), it's good to focus on one game at a time to get the most out of each one.
I'm always playing more than 1 at a time, but that's mainly because either a game i like alot came after i started the first or the first just didn't hold my interest. So what i mean is even if i'm playing more at a time i try to finish 1 by 1 instead of playing them at the same time all the time.
I started playing UC2 and ended up finishing Brutal legend and later valk chr before finishing uc 2 :P
