Online RPGs

I've been playing White Knight Chronicles and the online play is extremely addiciting, which is the 1st game I've ever gone online. If I'm into this, would I generally like MMORPGs? Would Final Fantasy XIV be similar?

WKC is atleast imo very much like an mmo becouse the whole battle system is based on ability cooldown...done in a more atractive manner but thats what it is so I think youd like mmos. What you must remember though is that mmos are less about story and more about progression. Leveling is what you do and the quests WILL get repetetive since reaching the higher levels takes hundreds of hours. Most mmos except for new ones I suppose have a trial so you can always try before you buy.
