PS3 Fans, worried not, games are coming, and ps3 will domininate AGAIN! Everybody talks about how succesful the xbox 360 has been. Has anyone actually look at the TOTAL numbers, currently PS3 has sold 7,700,000 units thus far worldwide, and the xbox 360 has sold 15,020,000 thus far. We all know the X-box 360 has been out a year longer than the PS3. Im sure the xbox 360 has sold more units in the second year then the launch year especially since all their AAA titles came out this year (Halo, Bioshock, and of course Mass Effect). Now just look at the units sold,PS3 are toe to toe with them in terms of quarterly sales. if we keep up this pace with the launch year sales(most people think the launch year has been slow, and it has) we will match the 15 millions sold by the xbox 360 in the two yeras and not with any of those AAA titles. I know there are great games such as uncharted (wheres the love for the this game, every PS3 owners need to get it), UTIII , call of duty. But im talking about the titles why we all originally maybe bought into sony schemes all the way from the oringal PSone. Final Fantasy, Grand Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, 3 of the biggest Franchise exclusisly for the ps3. Is it just me or do i get chills from those three games where i see a new trailer or news about it. not to mention Killzone 2, Haze, Little big planet (what a genuis idea) and also expected more creative games like Heavy Rain and much much MORE.. What im basically saying is that this upcoming year, you can look for the sales of the PS3 to double from the lauch year meaning it will easily sell over 20 million units Worldwide by next christmas( i really think about 23 million). I expect the PS3 to catch up to the X-box 360 by early 2009. You must think im crazy for making the statement, but the PS3 have sold nearly 8 million units in the lauch year with NO AAAA plus title, not a huge libary, problems with game developers developing for the ps3 hardware, a 600 dollar unit. You see thats just the thing, in 2008 all those things will be different, price will change, developers will have a better idea with what type of hardware they are working with, AAAA titles are coming, there will be a extensive library. The quality is coming folks, we just have to be patient. i am one that is not patient and personally sick of this delay, but i have invested 500 dollars into this system. So i have to wait, but i bought this system knowing it didn't have as many titles as the x-box 360. But i have faith, i have faith on how PSone has deliver and PS2 was the best console ever made so far. That the PS3 will one day do the same. Right now everybody talks about the difference of sales number for Call of Duty for the x-box 360 compare to the PS3. There are TWICE the amount of units of the X-box 360 in peoples home now than the PS3, and the only reason there is twice the amount is the X-box 360 has been out for two years. X-box 360 has try for the knock out this christmas on the PS3 with the Halo, Mass Effect, Bioshock but yet ps3 is quietly there waiting for the right time to strike. 2008! mark it down!!!! Killzone and Final Fantasy Versus my most look forward, i never even played killzone one, but man killzone 2 trailers has made a fan!!!!!
I have not played Rachet and Clank, but from i seen the visuals are beautiful, it only got a 7.5 rating on gamespot, but if you look at the AVERAGE critics review, which i think is more important that one person review and the average review of the people who bought the game and played. Both of those are over 9.0. Uncharted, HIGHLY Recommended, not Lara croft, but when you have a game as beautiful as this, you almost dont need her, would i replace Nathan Drake and with her, w/o a blink of an eye lol.
