PC gamers = terrible console gamers?

I am a former die-hard pc gamer who is trying to convert to console... I've finally faced the music: pc gaming is just about dead. The poblem is that i suck. Online competition in fps games is a favorite past time, but while i own all day long on pc i just cant get it together on console. The controller gives me nothing even close to precision and i'm getting slaughtered out there. Help!! Is there something i just don't know that other people do, or do i just need years and years of practice to get good on consoles?

Any tips for this old dog would be greatly appreciated.

I play PC and console and it just down to getting used to using a pad,if you have problems using pad try getting the FragFX controller/mouse if you play PS3,the left stick is like the wii controller and the right stick is controlled with a mouse. :)

If you were a die hard PC gamer, you'd realize that it's far from dead.

I'm a console gamer myself. I don't play PC games. I only play flash games on the computer and very seldomly the "e" word.

Only thing I'm bad at on Console that I'm good at on a PC is first person shooters.Treflis

I'm mostly a PC gamer, but I call still play Call of Duty rather well with a X360 controller.

Because FPS on a console is crap. Get FPS on PC. Everyone knows that, it will never be dead. You only need a console to play the console only games.

Not true, FPS on consoles feels like home. where keyboard and mouse feels clunky to me..... dont get me wrong, I play both.

I really doubt PC games are dead yet...All you need is a gaming computer + the knack of finding a proper game.I prefer FPS and RTS/RTT on the PC either way,shooting games in consoles are way too awkward for me.But as for the rest of the genres,I prefer them to be on consoles.But as for RPG,I like it whether it's on PC or console.Either way,both sides have their pros and cons.
