I also had a rough time with Neifirst when I first fought her. Of course this was back in 1989. What pissed me the most is that the official hintbook offered no tips to beat her.

First I think should be at over Lv.16 with Eusis (Rolf) use Nafoi with Eusis then attack with the rest of the party members. When one runs low of HP. Use your weakest character as a healer and start using your trimates.

Neifirst has a lot of HP and hits really hard, she's also very though on the remake. goodluck with her.

^^You're lucky you even had a hintbook to start with. When I first played this game (on Sega Smash Pack for PC), I was LOST, and had no clue on where to go. I actually thought Shrue was the Biosystems lab, so I thought the recorder was in there. There was no hintbook neither with that version nor the Sega Genesis Collection version (the one I'm playing in the video).

Yeah the hintbook was very handy and it came packed with the game. (which was the least they could add since the game cost so much)

Undoubtedly the most useful thing on it were the maps.

But nowdays you have all those internet FAQs. which I would assume would be better now.
