Planetside sequel seeing clear skies

Good news for people who loved the original Planetside game. Looks like the troubles Sony has been having with layoffs isn't affecting the EQ 3 and Planetside Next, which are getting even more developers. I'm kinda leary with either game considering how EQ2 was. All I can do is cross my fingers for them.

I played PlanetSide on and off for a couple of years. At its best, it offered the most fun I've ever had in a game. At its worst, it was quite frustrating. I heard that they were working on a sequel a few months ago. I'm glad Sony has decided to stick with it despite the recent downsizing. Let's just hope they enhance its strengths and shed the drawbacks.

Doubtful that it will be on PS3. It's a MMO. Seeing as this is made by SOE though, I have no intrest in it. They ruin games.

Loved the first for the first several months, then things kind of went downhill with nerf after nerf then every new patch fixing one bug but adding two more game breaking ones. Still have absolutely no faith in SOE but I think I will give them one last chance.

every time i read about that game it sounded cool, but i never got around to it because i was too busy playing games like everquest and WoW.

Or rather, A good PS3 MMO... (DC Universe)
