Platform games are my favourite type of video game genre. I am creating a test version of a buddy 3D platformer at this time and would like some research from people on this forum. I want to make a game that classic gamers that loved games such as Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank would be really into. So replies would be helpful and most appreciated! Thanks

Easy controls is #1 for me. Fluid controls, and platforms that are reasonable to reach and u don't hafta miss because of stiff controls. I also look for creativity and originality. Also puzzles. If there's puzzles involved, I'm in. Although I prefer 2D platformers, cuz I grew up in the era of Genesis Sonic and all the countless 8 and 16-bit platformers. They're much harder but so addictive. Super Meatboy is total genius.
