I love coop games but sadly the last time I've had fun with them was last gen. My go to games were the campaigns of Left 4 Dead 2 & Gears of War 3. This gen it's been only Destiny, but I hate that game. My friends love it so I'm forced to play it with them but it's no fun for me. Please help me out by recommending me some good 3-4 player coop games that I can suggest to my buddies. I game on the Xbox One.

Just one franchise suggestion-

Monster Hunter

Because you're on X1, the game you'd be looking into is Monster Hunter: World.

You can also try Metal Gear Survive but before that be sure that online works well on Xbox 1.(And be sure that the game isn't empty there)

Up to four players per quest but the Gathering Hall can hold far more than that. Can even arm wrestle, get animation drunk, and other awesome nonsense before quests.

While games such as Dark Souls play like a Single Player experience with optional Multiplayer features, Monster Hunter is a Cooperative focused experience with optional Single Player features

@dorog1995: In your opinion is Metal Gear Survive any good? I haven't heard too many positive things about it.

@pyro1245: Interesting. Initially I thought it didn't look like my style of game, but after a few youtube videos it's grown on me :)

@RSM-HQ: Nice to know. I think this might be the one I try first. I just watched IGN's review of it and I must say it looks very complex! I hope it won't be too hard on newcomers:) 9.5/10 is also a great score. I wish I gave it a chance sooner.

@worlds_apart: Monster Hunter is a very complex series when you look at everything, however World is certainly designed with baby steps in mind. Sometimes to embarrassing degrees (how to walk tutorial)_

You don't even unlock many the ability options till Low Rank is completed (mid point of Worlds story quests). And at that point you and your friends will likely have a weapon(s), armor, and attack style preferences.

It's a game series you'll likely learn new things even after 100 hours of play. Never essential before, but creates new possibilities. Once you get a feel for the game, you'll either decide if it's a game for you or not.

But it's coop and I and my own friends love the series, so can't think of a better recommendation on your thread (´・ω・`) also you seem to like Street Fighter and MH:W offers Event Quest Ryu and Sakura skins

@RSM-HQ: Thanks for all the info. I'm willing to put the time and effort into the game and I'm sure I won't be dissapointed. Besides, at this point I'd rather play anything but Destiny. Also nice to know about the Street Fighter skins. Yep I'm a huge SF fan :)

Hah me and my friends are always on the search for an interesting online co-op game to play as well. We've also played a shit ton of Left 4 Dead 2 and finished the campaign for Destiny 2 (didn't really like it). I can suggest Borderlands 2, whose campaign is probably the most fun we've had in an online game, as well as PUBG. We've put around 300-400 hours into that one. I should mention that we game on a PC however.

Yeah it is. For me it's the most underrated game of this year.(I give it 7.5-8.0 from 10)

I had lots of fun of it and most reviewers just hated it due to the whole PR nightmare that Konami had for the past years.

Guys, thanks for the Borderlands 2 suggestion. This is another game I don't know why I didn't try out sooner.

@DoroG1995: Thanks for your insight. I will do some research and look into it.

Left 4 Dead 2 is still a lot of fun, and if you want something in the same vein I recommend Vermintide 2; it's like Left 4 Dead, but set in the Warhammer universe.
