This game looks like it has a lot of potential. I love these old Mario and Banjo style games. Please support their Kickstarter. We need more of these games!

BTW, I am not affiliated with these guys at all. I just want to see the game be completed so I can play it :)

I really miss 3D action/adventure platformers. Does anyone know of any good recent releases of this genre or has it been dead for a while?

@xanatos357: Yooka-Laylee comes out next year, which, based on footage and the team working on it, looks to be marvelous.

Outside of that there's also the Mario games of course, and we have a new Ratchet and Clank coming out for PS4 as well, although that leans more towards action versus platforming in some sense.

Grow Home is very good too, although from the little bit I've played of it, it's a lot more experimental than the popular 3D platformers from back in the day.

Oh, and if you can get around some of the bad character design and cheesy story, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is good too, even if the TV show it's based on is a complete atrocity.
