I understand what you mean the Ps2 is still my main console. Whenever my Ps2 starts to mess up I'm definitely going to keep it but I will have to buy a new one.

well i got the problem where the orbs that float around at start up all connect into one central orb and then it stops. and my ps2 refuses to read discs too, It stopped reading blue discs along time ago. That was a bummer

lol i dont like the skinny ones, wen it comes to the PlayStation, i have always preferred the original models, The whole slimming and cutting down on console size to me is a dumb concept. Gamestop has the fatty's for sale for less than the slims. Im prolly gonna buy another one and use my old guy to add to my collection of broken consoles.

I like the fat models as well better but my original fat model stopped reading games completely and this was back in 2003 or 2004 so I just waited it out and ended up getting a skinny one. If my skinny one craps out I will probably buy a used fat one at Gamestop or some other game place around here.

that sounds like a decent plan, try to hide your skinny ps2 behind something wile playing it haha, the only game stores that are local to my aera, which is western ny is game stop. other than that pawn shops or the internet. pretty lame.

Take it to the country and bury it some place nice. It deserves a proper send off.

Make a grave and have a nice funeral for it. Have a moment of silence when its the anniversary of it's death. It deserves it.

Those fatty systems were really durable, which you don't see much of anymore. My fatty had died a few years ago from heavy usage, but I would defintely get a new one over the skinny models anyday.
