I enjoyed the first game very much. I like how the makers combined real time action fighting with the final fantasy characters, and I even liked the plot. The Only thing that I would say that I didn't like was that the character choices were limited to Two from every game sequel thus far. One of them being the Villain, while the Other is the hero. I hope that Square Thinks more outside the box, and adds More playable characters if they ever add a second installment. I think they should really consider adding Gilgamesh as a secret Playable Character. I think it would also be neat if they had Zeromus and Safer Sephiroth as a secret giant boss. Maybe they could even Add characters from Crisis Core, like Angeal and Genesis. Just throwing Ideas out there. Let me Know what you think, and feel free to add your own ideas. :-)
that game is still one of my favorite games. and yea they definetly need to add more characters. espeascally since they just made ff13 and ff14 is cmein out later this year. and i dnt nessacarilym think they need to make an entire new game. they cud probably just add them and some new levels and other crap through dlc. now that wud be a dlc i wouldnt mind paying for
I'd honestly love to see a sequel, Dissidia was a blast. But, if they make a sequel, it has got to have more characters. At least 2-3 from each game. Cecil, no Kain? Terra over Shadow or Sabin? Squall and Cloud could have used supporting characters. And Zidane should be backed up by Freya. And a Shantoto and Gabranth?!?! I would have rather liked to see a moogle and Fran. And Gilgamesh. Definetly Gilgamesh!;)
And with a sequel, why don't they build on it and make a dissidia style summon centric game. A battle game where all the mighty summons and monsters can rumble!
