Problems with HDTV and Kingdom Hearts 2?

Hey there,

I decided to replay KH2 recently, and when I loaded it into my PS2 (one of the slim ones), I noticed that the video is hitching a lot. It seems to be jumping quite a bit more than I remember it doing, even during the opening CG video. It's fine if the image is still, but when the camera is moving, the image kind of hitches, then rights itself. It's a bit annoying, really, and I'm just wondering if it's the game (the disc is in great condition), or if there's something I need to do to callibrate my TV to play it? The first game works fine, so I don't know what the deal with this one is. It worked fine when I played it on my SD a year or so ago.

that's sound similar to my problem except I was playing Sims2 Castaway for the third time after beating it twice, it started jumping on me to. I have a Slim silver PS2. Maybe it's because it's old and hasn't been played in a while. you try cleaning it and restarting it.

Thanks. I tried it, but it's still jumping. Mine's a silver PS2 too. I'm going to have to bring it up to my room and see if it has that problem on my other tv. (Great, my husband's going to love having a PS2 in the bedroom... :P)

This is a long shot, but I have to ask if you have a third party memory card or the original Sony 8MB one. I was using a third party because my son lost the original one, and it's the only thing that's different that I can think of.
