It'll be interesting to see what the Scorpio will be priced at. I'd think it'll be at least $500 unless they're willing to take a loss on it. Not that I know how much it's going to cost them to make them... either way, I can't see its full power being utilized if games still have to run on the standard Xbox One. With the PS4 Pro, I might upgrade for the better performance and the 1TB HDD. I don't have a 4K TV but I do have a 1440p resolution monitor so I'm hoping some games will be able to run or upscale or whatever in that resolution.

And honestly if you already have an Xbox One S and a PS4 that you bought recently, I wouldn't bother upgrading to either one of the new consoles. If anything, put some money towards a decent gaming PC if that's something that at all interests you. Otherwise I think you're better off having both consoles than one upgraded version of one of the consoles.

Had X1 and PS4 at launch but X1 was always my main system. Upgraded to X1S 2 TB when it launched to take advantage of 4K until Scorpio launches next year. Can't wait for FH3 and Gears 4 over the next month!!

Sold PS4 after finishing Uncharted 4 and GT Sport got delayed. May pick up Pro for Horizon and God of War (whenever that is coming out?) but not 100% yet. Not really interested in stuff like Persona or TLG.

So long story short

Scorpio YES

Pro MAYBE

I would buy both if you can , if not then do not worry and keep your ps4 and xbox one.

I am def. going to get both , particular since iv heard good things about the power and it´s VR.

tbh i don't think now was a great time to invest in either simply because, with news of the new consoles, their value will inevitably plummet.

that doesn't change the fact that there's tons of great games available for both so it's not going to stop you having fun.

but in just over a month's time you'll be playing ps4 games knowing that for probably not even £100 more you could be playing on a ps4 system with double the hard drive space, faster memory, a 33% faster overclocked cpu and roughly a 2.5x faster gpu which, combined, allows you to upscale games to 4k, utilise their vr add-on, plus get all round better performance. if you can live with that then keep it, otherwise i'd be tempted to try and get a refund to avoid that almost unavoidable buyer's remorse feeling

Pro sounds like graphics sliders to me, which makes me think of the 32x. I don't even really know why they're doing it like this instead of just going full next gen.

I'm just looking at how many games I've purchased that are exclusive to one console or another this gen, and the best choice seems to be upgrade my PC (been 5 years) and wait to see what PS5 looks like.

I'm going to get both. Right now I have the original Xbox One and when the Scorpio comes out next year I'll upgrade to that. Never got a PS4 but I did plan on buying one eventually. Now that the Pro is coming out in less then two months I'll just jump straight to that one.
