Do they look OK?

Depends what you think looks ok. KHAndAnimeThis is almost always the answer in the case of someone asking how things look. But, to add to the topic, most games run at 480i (640x480 resolution) and will be stretched to fit the screen. God of War II can be run in 480P mode which looks better, and Gran Turismo 4 / Tourist Trophy can be run in 1080i which looks even better.

The game won't become stretched if you set the HDTV's image to 4:3 instead of 16:9.

KhanhAgEIn my personal preference, everything I display on my 1080-native set I stretch to full screen as I feel more immersed in what's on the screen. To me it feels more like a home (movie) theater. Along those lines, and what someone else posted, what looks good comes down to the individual and personal preference. It's the same reason I'll turn down AA and vsync in almost every PC game I play on the screen as I feel I get a better framerate overall.
PS2 looks great on my old big screen SDTV but looks like complete garbage on my big screen HDTV. If graphics matter to you, you might not want to get rid of your old tv just yet.
