Just curious, what PS2 games do people know cause memory card corruption problems?

I have read about Jax X: Combat Racing and Soul Calibur III causing problems, but are they are any more?

As well, I don't mix and match data between my PS2 memory cards, I only transfer data from a Sony memory card to another Sony memory card or a third party memory card to another same third party memory card and I was wondering has anyone noticed if there are more chances of corruption when you exchange data between different brands of cards, for instance a Sony card and a Katana card.

The only corruption I have ever had was if I pulled the memory card out while saving or turned of the system. And even then it was random when it would corrupt it or not.

My memory card slot 1 is slightly loose. So there are times the system can't detect it. Aside from that, my memory cards work fine.

My memory cards have been used for hours daily for the last 9 years and I never had any of them stop working. Same with my friends' memorycards. Something probably happened to yours.

I got two cards, one by Sony and another one by a third-party company. Never had any problems with 'em, and I used to play Soul Calibur III a lot.

I don't think the games themselves go "Hey, a memory card! *CORRUPT*" it just auto saves at an awkward time. Just turn auto-save off and you should be fine.

Soul Calibur 3 says my card is corrupted, when it's really not.

The corruption problem on Soul Calibur III goes a long way to explaining why it was only $5.00 at EB in January. Guess the moral is to keep it to it's own memory card - thank goodness for ebay and cheap cards.

I remember that demo disk that wiped all your data!
I think it was a Viewtiful Joe demo, or something?

I cried.

Ouch.

Mental note: Only play demo disks on blank memory cards or with no memory card.

Soul Calibur III has a corruption problem, but ti doesn't wreck you memory card. Just the save file its self.

It is completely avoidable, so long as Sould Calibur III is the first thing you save to your card. So if you're willing to wipe your card cclean, it can be avoided.

Persona 3 allows you to save with a full memory card corrupting/overwriting other saves.

I've got 4 Sony memory cards, and have only had a problem with one game. Breath Of Fire: Dragon Quarter saves fine, but I cannot copy the data to another memory card.

Tony Hawks Underground? ?_? I never had a problem with it, neither with Tekken Tag Tournament, mentioned above, I played both games ALOT. How do you people get those games to corrupt save files? lol. Or is it because I have the PAL version? *shrug*

I have an original PS1 memory card and 2 original day one PS2 cards and none of them have ever had corruption. I also have one of the multi slot dongle style mass storage cards from mad catz and it has never corrupted either.
