Wahhhhh~ I'm sick of watching the Game Over screen... I've come this far, but I'm stuck at the boss Evrae on the airship. It's not like I didn't try - just a couple of DOZEN tries! I've searched up and tried every thing that was suggested on the net, but nothing works. I always die when Evrae starts using haste+scythe - and although all the characters have 1k+ hp, Auron is the only one that can survive poison breath... Admittedly I do suck at this, but you have to give a girl a handicap... right? I'm mainly playing for the storyline+cinematics, so I don't care if the solution is some kind of invincibility cheat (in fact, something like that would be lovely xD) Annnnyyy help?
If you don't care about the amount of money your party has there is a move that Rikku can use called "Throwing change" or something like that (it's been a while since I played FFX). Throw your money at Evrae. It will do serious damage...if you have a lot of money that is. That's how I beat it.
ur best bet is to use slow on him and have someone with the USE abillity to use albhed potions (rikku) and when he gets angry dispel him cuz slow wont work when hes mad. So cast haste on whoeva ur using the abillity with then slow on evrae then haste ur party make sure u use trigger cammand when he breaths deep but only when cid gets a shot in b4 evrae and only use overdrives after hes mad(2/3 hp left) to finish him off try not to waste to many albhed pots if u have alota moves try softs on petrified ppl if this doesnt work just lvl up ur character for a while just remember to hav evry1 hasted k:D oh and cheer helps a little 2
You might have to grind and level up your characters on the airship, fighting the bombs and ahriman and such, maybe get Lulu to her 3rd level spells, get Wakka's STR attribute up, overall, just get your characters' experience up, which means you might have to grind for several hours, and then your characters will be stronger and then you can try to fight it.
Thanks all for the replies :3 I guess I'm off to grinding then - at least it's better than grinding Evrae xD Any recommendations on what point you think I should be able to try fighting Evrae again?
