1. Do all of the games onthe PS2 in the sequel have the map editor?

2. In splitscreen mode, is it you angainst the CPU's or is it like against each other?

  • Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters Future Perfect have a map editor
  • You can play against whoever is also connected to your PS2 "2nd controller slot or multitap", and you can also play against the computer

And if you get really into the mapmaker you can go to this site. A guy designed a program to share timesplitters future perfect mapmaker blueprints with other people so they can make the map too.

All 3 games in the series have the map-maker. However, the map-maker in the PS2 version of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect has a player limit of 8. That and any complexity to maps usually results in serious frame rate issues. Further more, if using doors, unless a human player is within close range of AI, that AI will stand next to open doors, refusing to go through them.

TimeSplitters 2 has the best map-maker in my opinion, but even that is known to freeze on the odd rare occasion. However it supports 16 players and so you can build some pretty big maps.
