PS3 or 360?

Hi. I have anough money to spend on a 360 or a ps3, but which one. My mates all have 360's and want me to get one but i think the ps3 will have a better gaming experience. I think the 360 is getting a bit old as well now and i have a psp so i can use location free thingy (what is that). What should i do
