PS3 Police game.

Is there any good police games for PS3? I’m looking for a game where people do random crimes and you can arrest them for it. A game where you can get into pursuits, do traffic stops, get into shoot outs, etc. Lemme know if games like this is actually made.

@kotariggs: There's not a lot of police games with that level of random generation, but I know a few that are fun. LA Noire is more about detectives, but there's side cases, car chases, shootouts, chasing people down to arrest them, and solving cases and debunking lies is satisfying. Also there's Sleeping Dogs, where you play as an undercover cop.

As for the two you mentioned above, Hardline just uses the cop asthetic for a multiplayer online shooter. Watchdogs you play as a rogue hacker, not a police officer.

@baron_machina: I’ve played Sleeping Dogs. I think I wanna try out Battlefield Hardline. I’ve watched some campaign gameplay and it looks pretty good.

There was a Police simulator in the works for several years but no clue what state it's in or if it was abandoned. Looked really good though.

@kotariggs: There's a game called: Dead to Rights: Retribution. You play as a Cop, similar to Max Payne in a way, but it's a Cop game, more of an undercover Cop.

True Crimes games on PS2 were well done as you can handcuff baddies so there's that. Nowadays, there aren't that many games that let's you play as a Cop and go out and handcuff these days. Like others have said, try Battlefield Hardline.

Detroit Become Human - but that will be on PS4.

Battlefield Hardline is the closest you are going to get.

It is actually a great game.

Sleeping Dogs is an excellent one. You're undercover cop in Hong Kong, and get to take down bad guys using various undercover methods.

-also, if you get the DLCs, they will add random street crimes to the game, so you can do even more cop action.
