PS3 System worth buying?

I was looking forward to one day owning a PS3, but it seems that almost every review I read states that PS3 games get lower scores compared to the 360, and the frame rate is usually way under par. I thought the PS3 was supposed to be more powerful and have better graphic capabilities than the 360. I would love to hear from people who have a PS3 or know something concrete on the subject.

Should people avoid getting a PS3 until these issues are resolved? Or will they ever be?

They are not problems, it's developers being inexperienced with the hardware and being plain lazy. The lower scores are untrue, look at Madden, both 8.5 .This holiday season, a lot of interesting games are coming out with tons of PS3's proven series are coming out in early 2008.

I say get it now while the price is down, that or wait 'till the holiday season.
