Long story short, I'm finally breaking down and buying a PS3. I'm eager to get my hands on it and start playing some games, but here in lies my dilemma, I don't know which games to buy. Being completely new to the system I am unfamiliar with which titles are worth purchasing or not. I was wondering if I listed the types of games I like someone could recommend a few games and maybe discuss a few of the points with me if I had some questions about them.
Types of games I like:
RPG
Card
World/game building
Action
Puzzle
Types I don't like:
Shooters
Horror
Sports
I know that I want to get Little Big Planet, probably the Game of the Year addition. That's going to run me $60 not including tax. Most of the other games I'm not sure if I want to get them used or new, depending on content and such. I'm not picky about the year that it was made if it is a good game. I also consider myself a casual gamer if that makes a difference in recommendations.
Does anyone have some favorite games that they could recommend based on what I've listed here?
