I just bought a ps1 game to play on my ps2. The problem is that the memory card I bought for the game isn't saving. The memory card is a Sony brand ps1 memory card and the console I am using is a SCPH-75001 version. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to get it working.

I also have a question, sorry but making ANOTHER thread for my question would be stupid, so I'll post it here. Okay, so I play handheld games, NDS and GBA to be specific. I've recently bought a GBA link cable only to find out that NDS is not compatible with it. I do have a GBA but not an SP, all my friends tell me I should upgrade to SP due to it being smaller and it's light up screen. The only way I can upgrade to a SP is buyng it for $40 at my local GameStop. Is it worth it? I still play lots of GBA games. Also, is there one with a BACKLIT screen? My friend has the older model where the light comes from the BOTTOM of the screen. And for the TC, I also think it might be corrupted.

I think I saw an adapter kit awhile back where you can install internal lighting in an old gba...but it might be easier to sell the old gba and get an sp.
