gamespot gave the 360 version a 6.5 mainly for texture pop-in and terrible frame rate. now, the pc version got an 8.0 for seemingly solving most of this problems. have any patch been released to make the 360 version as closer to or as good as the pc version? and also give your overall opinion of the game is it worth buying? i just recently got into JRPG thank to eternal sonata so am new to the genre.

If you're new to JRPGs, do not start with this game. It is very frustrating and the battle system and gameplay are broken. It's an enjoyable game, but definitely should not be a starter JRPG. Go with Tales of Vesperia or Eternal Sonata for a good starter JRPG.

But the slowdown is really not that bad if you install the game onto your HDD. The slowdown is not even an issue for me, it's the broken battle system that frustrates me to no end. I think it's worth a play, but not until you've experienced some other JRPGs first.

I played the PC game for a while and actually really enjoyed it. The voice acting will make you want to tear your ears off but other than that it was pretty fun. Worth the money? Maybe. Very definitely a good game though. Read some of the user reviews I reckon.

I dont believe there is a patch for the 360 yet (though I may be wrong). I believed they changed the game engine somehow to reduced the texture popping, and an update of that size would be too impractical for the 360. However, this is second hand information, so it may be way off.
