Question for all my Persona fans. (esp. P4+Arena+Ultimax)

So, I'm just finishing up Persona 4 Golden on the Vita. To say I love this game is quite the understatement. Anyway, my question is this. Do romanced characters in P4 carry over in any way to P4 Arena/Ultimax? Like, is there maybe an option in Arena/Ultimax to pick based on what person you chose in P4 to be intimate with? I know save files don't carry over or anything. So basically, if I play Arena/Ultimax, is Chie going to just ignore the fact that we were together in P4? If so......................................that sucks.

Anyone?

Romantic relationships aren't canon so they're completely ignored, they don't even mention them during the actual game's story.

@megane: Thanks. As long as relationships are not mentioned at all, I guess it's all good. I can use my imagination. As far as Persona Q....I don't have a 3DS. Kinda makes me want to pick one up though.

Persona Q is really fun, it's more gameplay focused than Persona 4 but don't expect anywhere near the same depth of character interactions. .
