I have heared of Pokerus before so just this past week my Pokemon in Ruby had go it so now my whole party is infected with it but I was hoping to get it to go away but the internal battery in my game died last year but I'm still aable to keep playing it but time based events will no longer happen.

I was hoping that maybe if I traded the Pokemon over to another game then maybe the virus will go away faster and since the internal clock is dead is both sapphire and ruby , only emerald has a working clock so I traded my whole team to the other game on Wednesday and now that it's Friday it is still with them so will it go away or is it going to last forever?.

lol why would you wanna want the PokeRus to go away anyway? it makes EV training so much easier
from the looks of it you don't really know much about the internal mechanics of pokemon
but you don't need to worry the virus isn't gonna 'harm' your pokemon it will only benefit you if you know how to utilise it
i could explain EVs to you but THIS page gives a much better explanation than i ever could so feel free to read it

Pokerus goes off a few days after the "pkrus" sign shows up but since your internal battery died I don't think the game will see "a few days" since time based events don't work, maybe if you trade it to another game it could go away leaving only the "smiley" icon that indicates the pokemon had the pokerus but still have the benefits Then again why would you want it to go away it makes training a loooot easier

I don't believe you that you want it to go away.

Pokerus effect stays permanently already, even after it goes away. The only advantage he'd get out of this is infecting a lot of Pokemon without having to store one in a box for future purposes.

Pokerus - first introduced in Gen 2 - boosts stat experience (or EV in Gen 3 onwards) gain and can be spread to other Pokemon while it is still active.

Due to it's beneficial nature, it's advised that you always retain at least one Pokemon with Pokerus active - they don't lose the status while in a PC box - for future training.
