God of War II ( I do suggest you play the first one, if you haven't already)
Resident Evil 4
Shadow of the Colossus
Okami
Great games, by the way. I'm alsotrying to pick up on PS2 games that I missed out on. My collection's almost done. All I need is MK: Deception and possibly Soul Calibur II.
for me the order is
Resident Evil 4
Okami
Shadow of the Colossus
then God of War 2
don'tr getm e wrong god of war 2 is good...but the other 3 really pretty innovative and i'd play those first before god of war 2
I find it hard to order them as they're from different genres, but here goes :
Resident Evil 4
Okami
God of War 2
Shadow of the Collosus
Shadow of the Collosus ranked bottom only because i found it to be difficult to get into and a bit frustrating. I believe that i have not given it a full chance to demonstrate it's appeal to me yet though as I'm only up to the third collosus and now it's been sidelined in favour of other games.
Resident Evil 4 is IMO by far the best game in the series which i have played so far. While some of the bosses could easily have been made more interesting to fight, the overall game is very well-made i think, and highly engaging.
God of War 2...... well, I haven't played it but will comment on the original which i do have. I thought it was pretty good, although i became stuck at a very frustrating bit ages ago (no way to progress, no clues as to how to achieve the goal) and stopped playing it, always meaning to start again sometime but never getting round to it just yet. I feel that Devil May Cry 3 is a superior game of the same genre, so it's taking a while.... but it isn't that the game deserves to be left to the side, I just have lots of games so they have to be outstanding to vye for my attention.
And Okami, ah....it would have been easy to rank it top, since I'm playing it right now so it's wonderfulness if fresh in my mind, but that would be doing an injustice to the other games... I really am enjoying it though, it's a delight to play and it ranks a very close second place to Resident Evil 4 .....

well I would suggest this order;
Shadow of the Colossus, its just amazing
RE4, its short and great, you can beat it in one weekend, in less than 10 hours.
God of War 2, its just amazing game and the best among these.
Okami, now this is a long game compared to others.
then again beat Shadow of the Colossus a second time, you'll need it.
now this homework for you is due to 10 march, you have 1 week to accomplish : P
Wow, Congrats on the awseome games. They all are great but here is my order of the best....
My ranking for those four games would look something like this:
1. God of War II
2. Okami (Great art effets)
3. Shadow of Colloseus
4. Resident Evil 4 (Fun but short)
For me it's:
Resident evil 4- Why does everyone call this short? It took me 20 hrs first time through and it's just ridiculously fun.
Shadow of the colossus- Absolutely spectacular game.
God of War 2- Fantastic game but to me it seemed a little less special the second time around.
Okami- I tries this game but alas I did not like it. The art was unappealing to me and the gameplay was monotonous.

because its short and if you dont wander around much its finished in 6-7 hours. if you wander around, it takes 8-9 hours max. your 20 hours seem is extreme, you opened the game and didnt play for a long time, a guest came while you playing, you left the game for lunch, dinner etc. or many other things. 20 hours gaming is extremely long for RE4,imo.( i'm excluding extras or game+ )
Okami - best PS2 game IMO! Very unique game!
Resident Evil 4 - not short! Took me 15-20 hours...or maybe because I love to explore.
Shadow of the Colossus - also a unique game. Honestly the best graphics I've seen (yeah..for me it's better than current gen graphics).
God of War 2 - overrated game! The only thing that kept me playing GoW is the story. Gameplay is average, many games has similar gameplay to this like Onimusha series (which is a better game for me).
1. Resident Evil 4. Best game ever. Warning, once you start playing it, you won't want to stop. I have replayed this game so many times I have lost count.
2. Shadow of the Colossus. Very immersive gameplay/storyline
3. Okami. Fun adventure. Cool game mechanics. Maybe overly long.
4. God of War 2. Didn't like GOW1 enough to buy GOW2 yet. I am waiting until I can pick it up for $10.00.
4. RE4, i only put this 4th because i own the gamecube version and have never seen the ps2 version played. The GC version of RE4 is one of the best games i've ever played.yentar480
Both versions are great. The PS2 is basically the same as the GC with a few changes to enemy placement and AI. Still, if you really like RE4, I encourage you to pick up the PS2 version too because few things are more fun than to stick Ashley in the suit of armor and use her as bait. It makes up for all the times you had to rescue her/drag her around.:D
if you had a wii theres no reason to own the ps2 re4 but any how
heres how i rate em
okami-9,0
re4-considering you dont own the more recent one-8,9
gow 2-never played , so thatll be n/a but look at the screens and videos and reviews others have given it
and same for shadow of collosus
1 - Shadow
2 - RE 4
3 - GOW 2
4 - Okami

Thats my order also if it was another RE game it was going to be the first but re4 suck and i never liked gow its so action orientated like re4
Resident Evil 4 - Definately my favorite RE game even though it doesnt have the classic T-virus story. The gameplay is just the best version ever. It can take awhile to get used to the gameplay but once you do it rocks. If I wasnt so good already im sure there would have been lots of pulse pounding moments of adrenaline rushes from some of the battles. Plus it has a ton of replay value just to go through and unlock all the cool extra crap. Those goes set the bar extremely high for any future res evil game.
Okami - awesome flawless game with some cool paintbrush mechanics. It takes the basic zelda gameplan and does its own thing with it. You run around and have action-based combat and occasionally fight huge boss monsters, you unlock and upgrade weapons and powers as you go along. It was the best game Clover ever developed and a seriously high quality game for the ps2. Like zelda games though its only good for a once through unless your feeling nestalgic. Once you beat the story there really isnt a reason to keep playing.
God of War 2 - will never play it. I beat the first one and thought it was a complete waste of time. It has a smoking hot body but no brains or personality
Last(game ever):Shadow of the Collosus - Hillbilly inbred garbage. Good job throwing your money away on this turd. Its empty shallow and completely boring. Look at me im hanging from a monster by his pubic hair!!!
1.God of War 2
2. Resident Evil 4
3.Okami
4.Shadow of the Collosus

What he said.
The Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4 is superior to the PS2 version.

Ok...
The're all great games. Shadow of the Colossus is an aquired taste, and has an interesting story, and unique gameplay...
No need to bash it without giving any reasons.
God of War II is freakin' awesome. Hack and Slash delight.
