What rare systems do you own?
For me, it's my Gold Zelda DS Lite and Sega Saturn.

MUSHA ALESTE, I bought it for 30 bucks on amazon, the cheapest is 55 dollars, some are ridiculously over-priced, such a solid game. Ever since I got it, I have yet to actually beat it, but I will play it again anyways. I just love how challenging it is, but it still is fun, and very rewarding to play. Its one of those sega genesis games, that are the reason why it was such a good system, the graphics are so epic. It makes the snes look like a slug in gameplay, and actually makes the graphics difference look so small. It should of been more popular back then, some of the best sega genesis games, where never truely noticed, which is kind of sad.
Oh and Demolition man8) At first I thought it was just another stupid video game movie, but it is better than Contra 3 on snes is. Never thought I could play a game with Sylvester Stallone in it, another game the proves the sega genesis was a unique console all in its own, there was several consoles that had it, but the sega genesis version was the onlly good one.
I still have my old 386 computer in my folk's basement....thing had a whopping 16MB of RAM and the floppy (the real floppy, as in the 5.25 inch floppy) drive. Should still have Tie Fighter installed.
Does that count?
It would be my Mattel Intellevision system.Wiz007Intellivision was awesome. My brother still has his. I have a Merlin - it's a red LED hand-held thing from the late 70's that looks like a giant phone. It has 6 games on it I think.
The Dreamcast is pretty rare I think. The only other person I know who has one is one of my freinds who I went onto about it so much for a year and told him it was better than a PS3 and a 360 put together lol.Hes only got Ready to Rumble for it though.
Heres the consoles I have which are rare (I am judgeing wether they are rare or not due to if they available in Game)
NES
SNES
N64
Gamecube
GBA
GBASP
Xbox (currently up for sale on eBAY!)
PS1
PS1 slim
Master System
TurboGrafix
Dreamcast
Commodore 64
and the rarest of them all, the Atari Jaguar!
I own the God of War PSP which I understand goes for a bit of money these days. Bought mine new for $200 a little over a month ago, and I've seen them go new on Amazon for $350+ now; don't know if it's rare, but it's gone up a lot in value. That may be the only rare console I own since I don't really own that many consoles.jalexbrownreally, the most expensive one on amazon right now is $220... it's still available redily at wal-mart... it's not rare. most of the consoles that people have mentioned here aren't rare. rare would be a top loading nes, or a n64dd... a sega cdx, or the sega cd1... not a genesis, not a plain jane nes... even a sega saturn isn't rare... if you've got a white one, then that's rare, but come on people... these things are mainstream. i've got a limited edition platinum gamecube, but i'm not on here all like, "yeah, it's rare"... cause it's not. if i had an atari lynx, or a turbo duo cd, or a jaguar cd i'd mention it, but since i don't, then i won't. but to whoever had that resident evil dreamcast, goood job!
N64's, PS1 ect. aren't rare. Mines a Game Gear (dunno fi rare but its old)rastaman219
They are rare if there original and sealed in box. Like my fat PS1.
I guess the rarest Videogame system I've even owned was TurboGrafix CD player add on. The first CD Based way of playing videogames in North America 1989. Monster Lair(Wonder Boy 3) and Fighting street (Street fighter 1) were the launch titles. Videogames on CD instead of Carts.
I wish I had held on to it. (all of my pervious Game systems/Collections) Currently I just have the Standard Playstations 1,PSone,PS2 Fat,PS2 slimeline,PSP 2000,and PS3 consoles. I wonder if I should bother to Hunt down the "Now Rare" Playstation 3 60 gig console or a 20 gig PS3. Just to say I have them? Then get another PSP fat 1000, And later on PSP 3000 and PS2 9000 series.
Just to say I have all of the Playstation incarnations. Plus another SuperNintendo and Hunt down the Rarest Playstation of them all. The Nintendo Playstation CD Add on Prototype? Only A handful were made. The famous Useless Expansion port on the bottom of the Original SuperNintendo (not SNES 2) was to be used for this Playstation.

BigN64
I want a Zelda DS:cry:
but anyway, I have a N64 and a GBA SP. Oldest systems I own...not really rare but... yeah :) Does Zelda II: Link's Adventure on GBA count as rare? (Classic NES series.) :)
rarest would be the game gear because it sold 11 million in its 7 or 8 years of production
nes the actuall system
i consider wii rare because they are hard to get your hands on
cd-i emulator a.k.a. SNES CD has only 200 games all bad except hotel mario
the playstation was a planned add on to snes but it failed and it was called nintendo playstation but you know the outcome of that
last but not least a limited edition silver or platnum gamecube
A orginal atari 2600 with its orignal box is oldest, probably rarest is the sega jaguar.AtvarUThere is no such thing as a "SEGA Jaguar". Atari made the Jaguar, and I have one. It's not all that rare; you see them on eBay daily.
Gameboy Color? Playstation? Sega? People just cause theyre old doesnt mean theyre rare. I see these old systems at Goodwill all the time. How many people own a Magnavox Odyssey 300 on here besides me? Probably not many thus considered rare.
1. Sega Master System (Model II) with Flight Stick Controller
2. Turbo-Grafx-16
3. Atari Jaguar with multi-tab
4. NES 2/Top Loader with Four Score Adaptor
5. Atari Lynx (Model II)
6. Xbox (HALO Edition)
Ice Blue N64
Don't know how rare the DK green N64 is
Sega Saturn
As of last night I got myself a Sega Master System. I consider it rare since I have only seen it once at a pawn shop and then the second time is where I found it in a thrift store. I would have bought it from the one pawnshop if he priced it sooner before I found it at the thrift store. Either way I think I got a better deal at the thrift store for just $21 to get the system, sega light gun, and a couple games that caught my intrest.
Also don't know if the first generation Genesis is rare but I managed to get one of those.
3 Gamegears (trying to sell one and possibly the second but its broken and not worth more then $1 imo
Also is the second generation SNES considered rare as well? I managed to see one for the first time IRL and bought it about a few months ago.
