Hmm, what're the requirements to work at a EB Games or GameStop? I'm going to need a part time job soon. :)DarkR34p3r
Have some knowledge of video games and legally be able to work? It can't be very hard to get a job there so long as there is a position.
My best experience has been with Gamecrazy. They are knowledgeable and actually will try and help you find a game, talk with you, etc... They DO try and sell you waaaaaaaaaay too many things at the counter when you just want to purchase a game, 2 year disc repair, warranties, news letters, club cards, pre orders, etc...
There's a local store in Bowling Green, Ohio called C & C Games that I would rate %100; 10/10; 5 Stars; or what have you...
Best store I've ever been to and I'm sad that I no longer live there for that reason alone...

We got like, one Gamestop in my town, a few months ago, it's awesome, before they were here i always had to buy my games at some stupid bookstore, and i'm already a valued costumer at the new Gamestop :P
Whenever i go in their like "Joey! What would it be today?" And if i'm buying something, it's always either "And we'll just take 3 bucks off the price" or "You know, i'll sell you the special edition for the same price" He lied about that last one though, i got it a bit cheaper :D
I used to go to a place called Microplay, but recently they've been buggin me. They really reduced their trade values, and they are generally more expensive than they used to be. The employees don't even seem to know that much about games. I ran in to 1 employee who didn't know that the wii play GC games.
My favourite place to go is EB. Great service, the guys there know a lot about games and good prices and trade values. The only thing I really hate is that they insist on putting those stupid stickers on used game manuals. They're such a pain to get off without ruining the manual
There's a local game store called Game Heaven that has Awesome sales on Retro and New games. They also have a buy 2 get the third free on most of thier games (excluding 360, XBOX, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, GameCube, and DS).
I also like to check thrift store because I find old PC games there
Well let's see. There are 2 Gamestops that I go to the most for my gaming needs. There are also 3 more that I only go to when I visit the mall they are located at.
Gamestop 1-They just moved into a bigger store. Great selection of games. Friendly workers. I've never had any problems with the games not working. Not that I can remember.
Gamestop at 2-This one is fairly new. Great selection. Some of the workers can be jerks but I've met a few cool ones. Though I've had one incident with a game not working. Other than that there used games are in practically new condition.
Gamestop 3-I haven't been there in a great while but I know it's small and not much of a selection. I bought Lost Kingdoms 2 there a while ago and it was cheap and in great condition. But I'm not sure how it is now a days.
Gamestop 3- Horrible. Small store, decent selection, workers aren't friendly, and every game I've gotten there with the exception of Final Fantasy X was scratched or damaged.
Gamestop at 4-Small store. Gets very crowded and hard to move around without bumping into other shoppers. Workers are friendly and hold conversations with you. Good selection, games are usually in good condition though I've had a few problems with games not working from there.
